With family and friends travelling from the United States, Danica and Alex wanted a grand venue to celebrate their love and Cowdray House provided the perfect setting. 

The couple got ready in separate suites, before meeting on the balcony before the ceremony to exchange gifts and have a quiet moment together. Danica wore an exquisitely embroidered House of Savin dress which she found in May and Grace Bridal Boutique. 

The ceremony was held outside with the historic house serving as a dramatic backdrop. Guests then congregated in the gardens for lawn games and a drinks reception. Dinner was held in the Buck Hall with it’s dramatic terracotta walls and vaulted ceilings. The long tables were adorned with flowers and candles by This Floral Life. 

After dinner, speeches and cutting the cake, or should I say, feeding each other doughnuts(!), we took a stroll through the extensive gardens and down to the lake for the couples portraits. We were back in time for everyone to let their hair loose on the dancfloor.
