Hawkhurst Garden wedding with Becky & Jake

First up, the lovely Becky & Jake got married in St George’s Church in Benenden Kent. Becky and Jake then drove off after the ceremony in their vintage car, with their guests following behind on coaches. Becky’s mum hosted the rest of the day in her garden in Hawkhurst, Kent. There were so many incredible touches which made this day so joyful. Becky and Jake wanted to blend a traditional Kent countryside wedding with Central America flare to pay homage to Jake’s heritage. Think steel drummer, scarecrows in the vegetable patch dressed up as the bride and groom. Red and white tablecloths and tea-cups and let us not forget to mention, confetti canons!

To honour their Greek honeymoon, the couple were welcomed into the marquee against a backdrop of traditional Greek music. As the big entrance took place, the entire wedding party were waving their napkins (which had all of their faces drawn onto them) furiously! Cheering, wooping and laughing continued, making this one of the most exciting entrances we’ve ever seen.

Becky wore a completely gorgeous geometric wedding coat by Andrea Hawkes Bridal and feather cap by Ani Burech. Her metallic shoes were from Faber Novella Becky and Jake’s gorgeous Kent wedding has been featured on Whimsical Wonderland Weddings here.
